Set in "Nature and Culture", but without forgetting export, thus the nineteenth edition of Vino in Villa looks to the future.
“NATURE AND CULTURE” is the title of the new edition of the Vino in Villa Festival which will be organised from May 12 to 15, 2016 by the Consortium for the Protection of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore. The extraordinary sparkling wine of the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene will be celebrated in all its symbolic and cultural value as a product of excellence of man’s hard work, knowledge and creativity. But also as a reflection of that typically Italian life style that is so appreciated worldwide. “Our Sparkling Pleasure is a modern wine, in line with current trends among consumers which also include a large number of women. It is perfect for social occasions and can be combined with all food, especially the lightest and most elegant kinds." These are the words of Ettore Ceschin, founder of the Cantina Bepin De Eto, who, with this insight, also foresees the goals for the near future. “In recent years we have consolidated our relationships with our long-standing customers, both Italian and European. At the same time, we have embarked on new paths toward new markets with the aim of increasing awareness about the wines of the Cantina outside of Europe as well". This optimism is well founded. Now in its nineteenth edition, this year the Vino in Villa Festival will take place in a particularly favourable climate for Italian sparkling wine that, more than ever before, is creating a buzz in the international markets. A variety of activities has been planned that will animate the gentle, but sometimes steep slopes, so loved by the poet, Andrea Zanzotto. The first three days will be entirely dedicated to cultural events, located in the various villages dotted over the hills in this area, and will involve some of the most important names in contemporary Italian culture.
On Sunday May 15, the event will culminate in the marvellous setting of the Castle of San Salvatore at Susegana for the classic tasting of the latest vintage of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, open to journalists, members of the trade and wine lovers in general. A unique opportunity to discover the entire area producing this extraordinary sparkling wine of the March of Treviso.
To mark the period of the Vino in Villa event, Bepin De Eto is delighted to present the latest vintages together with the new look for the line of sparkling wines. A packaging system featuring new bottles and labels; a kinaesthetic packaging to produce something out-of-the-ordinary focusing on the character of a product via all the senses, to obtain a more complete "Sparkling Pleasure", bearing the name Bepin De Eto.
